Co-planar waveguide (CPW)
Microstrip and co-planar waveguides (CPWs) are commonly used as planar transmission lines and are, therefore, should be designed and measured as part of a material characterization test vehicle. Their insertion loss provides a good idea about the electrical performance of sub-sections.
